Insurance and Payments

Motion IQ Physical Therapy accepts Medicare and is an out-of-network provider with PPO health insurance plans. Many insurance plans provide benefits for physical therapy services provided by out-of-network providers. Health insurance plans, policies, and terms vary greatly, and each person’s health care needs and expenditure is unique. We can verify your benefits and see what options we have to get the care you need.

Motion IQ Physical Therapy does not accept HMO or Medi-cal.

We have cash options available. All sessions are schedule for 40 minutes, 100% with a licensed physical therapist.

1 Visit Evaluation/Treatment - $150*

5 Visit Package - $725* or $145 per visit

10 Visit Package - $1,400* or $140 per visit

*Full payment is required on the day of service.

Why Out of Network

The most common complaint I have heard from patients in the past 20 years is that they wish they could have more time with their physical therapist. Over the years, many clinics that contract with insurance companies have been forced to shorten individual treatment sessions and increase caseloads in order to stay financially viable.

At Motion IQ Physical Therapy we have chosen to operate out of network with insurers so we can create the best possible environment for focused, personalized patient care. For us, the most important variable is TIME — the more dedicated time I can spend with a patient, the better the expected outcome. When patients get longer, uninterrupted access to their physical therapist, they often progress more quickly and may even require fewer total visits to reach their goals. The only way we can provide more time with patients is if our clinic is out of network.

Filing Insurance Claims

Motion IQ Physical Therapy files our patients’ primary insurance claims as a courtesy. Please note that while Motion IQ Physical Therapy submits claims on your behalf, you are still responsible for ensuring that the insurance provider properly processes your claims.

Payment

We require full payment when services are rendered. We accept all major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. We also accept payments from your HSA/FSA account.
